I will never forget this view for as long as I live. Even without this photograph, this image has been forever etched in to my mind. There were a lot of perfect moments on that trip to Italy but this one takes the cake. After a day and a half of flying.. from the Southeastern U.S. to New York City, NYC over to Paris and then Paris in to Naples, I could barely keep my eyes open from the jet lag. I had no idea what time it was, whether I needed breakfast, lunch or dinner… if I needed to be in bed or if I should be wide awake… We were taken through the airport like a heard of cattle to get to the shuttle, only to have my nerves completely shot from the winding roads that sit at the most extreme ends of cliffs soaring up high above the beautiful sea. Once to the hotel, after checking in, dealing with luggage and what was the feeling of complete exhaustion, I walked to the back side of the hotel to where the pool was and this is the first thing I truly took in… And I will never forget it. This is the perfect place.. and the perfect country!!!
